IPCP Policy Brief: Considering hazards, not risk or impact, is a prerequisite for an effective SPP
The International Panel on Chemical Pollution (IPCP) prepared this policy brief on the need to consider hazards, not risk or impact as a prerequisites for an Effective Science-Policy Panel (SPP) . This brief was used as an input to the second session of the Open Ended Working Group (OWEG-2) for the development of the Science-Policy Panel to contribute further to the sound management of chemicals and waste and to prevent pollution.
