The International Panel on Chemical Pollution (IPCP) is a global assembly of independent academic scientists dedicated to advancing chemical and waste management policies at local, regional, and international levels. IPCP operates with two primary objectives:

  1. Identifying Priority Issues: Providing leadership in recognizing critical concerns by conducting and sharing objective assessments of research on chemical pollution and waste.
  2. Bridging Science and Policy: Serving as a platform for independent academic scientists to collaboratively contribute to science-policy initiatives, ensuring informed decision-making for regional and global policies on chemicals and waste management.
